About this blog
This blog is a continuation of an earlier one that I entitled The Aiki Traveller, which was my attempt at sharing my experiences visiting other dojos while learning and playing aikido. I decided to expand the scope of the blog somewhat and cover more than just aikido. But, of course, aikido is an important part of my life, so I expect it will play a prominent role in this forum.
I also manage a separate forum for cycling referees, called Commissaire.net, which has been running (in one form or another) since mid-1992.
The technical bit
This website is run using WordPress software in conjunction with a commercial theme package from PageLines, called iBlogPro. Like all WordPress themes I’ve used, I have had to customize this one by hand a little bit, but in general terms I’ve found the WordPress theme products from PageLines to be very well designed and documented.
